Overview

The first time you open Quicken after installing a new version, Quicken converts the last data file you worked in. If you find that some of your data is incorrect, here are some options for resolving this problem.

Instructions

First, ensure you have converted the correct data file:

  1. In Quicken, click on File > Open.
  2. Browse to the correct file and select it. Quicken will prompt you to convert the file when you open it.

Then, restore a backup:

If you have the correct data file open, and the data did not convert correctly, restore a backup and convert the file again.

If you've upgraded from Quicken 2009 or older

An intermediate version may be necessary during the conversion process to the latest version. For more information, click here.
