- These principles ("Principles") outline the rules for utilizing the Quicken Assist features. Your use of Quicken Assist is further subject to the applicable Terms of Use for the Quicken product that you are using, which can be found at https://www.quicken.com/terms-of-use/simplifi-and-lifehub .
- Obligations.
a. The content generated by the Quicken Assist features may sometimes be inaccurate or misleading. Therefore, it's important that you use your discretion to review and verify all generated outputs.
b. Quicken Assist is designed to address your questions with insights and tailored suggestions, empowering you to make more informed decisions. Quicken Assist is not intended to provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Always seek independent consultation from qualified professionals. - Review and use of inputs and user feedback.
a. Please note that Quicken may review your prompts and the results generated by Quicken Assist using automated or manual methods to prevent abuse and ensure content compliance. Quicken may disable accounts that violate these Principles or any other terms or agreements with Quicken, or that Quicken deems, in its sole discretion, to be a risk or harmful.
b. Quicken may also review and use your prompts and the results generated by Quicken Assist to improve Quicken features. This includes the use of user inputs to enhance the accuracy, functionality, and overall performance of Quicken Assist.
c. Users, from time to time, may also submit feedback to Quicken. Quicken may freely use the feedback in connection with Quicken Assist and other Quicken services for its own internal purposes. User hereby grants to Quicken a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license (with rights to sublicense) to make, use, sell, offer to sell, reproduce, modify, distribute, make available, publicly display and perform, disclose and otherwise commercially exploit the feedback. - You should avoid inputting any personally identifiable information about yourself or others into the Quicken Assist prompt. We utilize a third-party large language model (LLM) to power Quicken Assist, and while we have configured it so that your prompts are not used to train the model, it is always best to avoid providing personal information in your prompts.
- At Quicken, your privacy is our priority, and we are fully committed to safeguarding your data. We only send information to the LLM when you use Quicken Assist and only the information you expressly include in your questions. For more information regarding how we protect your data click here .
- Intellectual Property considerations.
Intellectual property rights may apply to work created even in part by Quicken Assist and may require a disclaimer of Quicken Assist content. Users should consult with their own legal counsel for help with copyright protection. An owner’s intellectual property protection extends to derivative works. - Users may not use Quicken Assist in scenarios where unfair, unreliable, or offensive behavior might lead to harm.
- Restriction on AI/ML Training.
You are only permitted to use Quicken Assist for your own creative and productivity tasks, not for training artificial intelligence or machine learning models. You must not, and cannot allow others to, use any content, data, outputs, or related information derived from these features to create, train, test, or enhance any machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence systems, or associated models.
